Skirt finger

A flexible, segmented extension attached to the lower edge of the skirt on an air-cushion vehicle or hovercraft. These fingers form a seal with the ground or water surface, containing the air cushion and allowing the vehicle to maintain lift. They are designed to be individually replaceable and adapt to uneven terrain.
