Sleeve

A tubular component used to enclose, protect, or insulate electrical connections or conductors. It can provide mechanical support, abrasion resistance, or electrical isolation for wires and cables. Heat-shrink sleeves, for instance, contract when heated to form a tight, protective seal over a splice or termination.
