Sprocket

A toothed wheel designed to engage with a chain, track, or other perforated material, transmitting rotary motion or linear force. Unlike gears, sprockets do not mesh directly with other sprockets but instead drive or are driven by a continuous loop. They are fundamental components in bicycle drivetrains, conveyor systems, and tracked vehicles.
