Sticky bit

A permission bit in Unix-like file systems that affects how files within a directory are handled. When set on a directory, it restricts file deletion or renaming to the file's owner, the directory's owner, or the root user. This prevents ordinary users from deleting or moving other users' files in shared directories like /tmp.
