Tail cone

The tapered, conical, or boat-tail shaped section at the very rear of an aircraft fuselage or engine nacelle. Its primary function is to reduce aerodynamic drag by smoothing the airflow as it separates from the aircraft's body. This component contributes to overall aerodynamic efficiency, especially at higher speeds.
