Train ferry

A vessel designed to transport railway rolling stock across bodies of water, allowing trains to continue their journey without transshipment of cargo or passengers. Tracks are laid directly onto the ferry's deck, enabling locomotives or shunting engines to load and unload wagons. These ferries are common in regions with fragmented rail networks or across large rivers.
