Two-way switch

A basic electrical switch that controls a single light fixture or outlet from a single location, having two screw terminals for wire connections plus a ground terminal. It simply opens or closes a circuit to turn power on or off. This type of switch is the most common for controlling individual lights or appliances in a room.
