Rocker switch

A type of electrical switch that pivots on a central axis, allowing one end to be pressed down while the other end rises, thereby opening or closing an electrical circuit. The switch mechanism often includes a spring to return it to a neutral position or to hold it firmly in an actuated state. These switches are frequently used in control panels for appliances, machinery, and automotive applications, with common configurations including single-pole, single-throw (SPST) and double-pole, double-throw (DPDT) designs.
