A periodic statement, usually monthly, from an insurance agent or broker to an insurer, summarizing the business transacted between them. It lists all policies written or renewed, premiums due, commissions earned by the agent, and any cancellations or adjustments. The account current serves as the basis for the agent to remit the net balance of premiums collected, after deducting commissions, to the insurance company.
