Bailee

A person or entity that takes temporary possession of another's property for a specific purpose, such as storage, repair, or transport, without transferring ownership. The bailee has a legal duty to exercise reasonable care over the property. Insurance policies, such as bailee's customer insurance, protect the bailee against liability for loss or damage to the property in their care.
