Biomechanical analysis

The scientific study of the mechanics of biological systems, particularly the human body, in relation to forces and movements. In insurance, it is used to assess the cause and extent of injuries in accident claims, such as those involving motor vehicles or workplace incidents. This analysis can determine if reported injuries are consistent with the forces involved in an event.
