Defense costs endorsements

Policy modifications that alter how legal defense expenses are handled under a liability insurance policy. These endorsements can specify whether defense costs are included within or outside the policy's limits of liability. Some endorsements may cap the amount payable for defense costs, regardless of the overall policy limit.
