Dental indemnity plan

A type of dental insurance plan that offers policyholders the freedom to choose any licensed dentist for their care. The plan reimburses a percentage of the costs for covered dental services after a deductible is met. Reimbursement rates are often based on a schedule of allowances or usual, customary, and reasonable (UCR) charges for the geographic area.
