Dismissal

The termination of an employment contract by the employer, which can be with or without cause. Wrongful dismissal occurs when an employer terminates an employee in breach of contract terms or employment law, potentially leading to legal claims for damages or reinstatement. Insurance policies such as Employment Practices Liability (EPL) coverage can protect employers against financial losses arising from such claims.
