Masonry noncombustible construction (ISO)

A construction classification used by the Insurance Services Office (ISO) for rating property insurance, characterized by exterior walls made of masonry materials like brick, concrete, or stone, and a roof and floor structure made of noncombustible materials. This construction type offers greater resistance to fire spread compared to frame construction. It is one of six ISO commercial property construction classes.
