Term · Insurance and risk management · MLC-T-INS-002799
An insurance policy issued to an individual or entity that presents a higher-than-average risk, resulting in a premium that is higher than the standard rate for similar coverage. This increased premium compensates the insurer for the elevated likelihood of a claim. The rating may be due to health conditions, hazardous occupations, or other specific risk factors.
