Servicemembers group life insurance (SGLI)

A low-cost group life insurance program provided by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to eligible active-duty servicemembers, reservists, and National Guard members. It offers coverage up to a maximum amount, with premiums deducted from military pay.
