Military service exclusion

A provision in an insurance policy that excludes coverage for losses or injuries that occur while the insured is on active military duty or as a result of war or military action. This exclusion is commonly found in life insurance, health insurance, and some disability policies. Its purpose is to limit the insurer's exposure to the elevated risks associated with military service and combat.
