Standard fire policy jurisdictions (SFP)

States whose insurance laws require that property insurance policies include, or be at least as favorable as, the provisions of the 1943 New York Standard Fire Policy. This policy form contains 165 lines detailing the terms and conditions for fire insurance coverage. While modern policies have broader perils, they must still conform to the minimum protections established by the standard fire policy (SFP) in these jurisdictions.
