Tie-in endorsements
Term · Insurance and risk management · MLC-T-INS-003332
A title insurance loan policy endorsement, also called the aggregation endorsement, used when one loan is secured by mortgages on parcels in different counties or states. The insurer issues a separate policy for each parcel, and the endorsement ties them together so the amount of insurance available for a loss is the combined amount of all the listed policies, and a lender can recover a loss above one parcel's allocated amount from the others. ALTA publishes it as Form 12, available only with loan policies, and the 2006 edition is numbered 12-06.
