Accomplice

A person who voluntarily participates in the commission of a crime with another individual, sharing the same criminal intent. This participation can involve direct action, aiding, abetting, counseling, or encouraging the principal offender. An accomplice is typically held to the same level of criminal liability as the principal perpetrator.
