Accompanying relative

A family member who applies for immigration benefits alongside a principal applicant, such as a spouse or unmarried child under 21 years of age. This individual's eligibility for a visa or adjustment of status is contingent upon the principal applicant's approval. The relationship must be established through birth certificates, marriage certificates, or other official documents.
