LIFE Act

A United States federal law enacted in 2000, formally known as the Legal Immigration Family Equity Act. This legislation provided certain immigration benefits and relief to specific categories of individuals, including those with pending visa petitions or applications for adjustment of status. It also created the V visa category for spouses and children of lawful permanent residents.
