Inadmissible

Describing a noncitizen who is ineligible for a visa, admission to the United States or adjustment of status because of a ground listed in section 212(a) of the Immigration and Nationality Act. Grounds include certain health conditions, criminal convictions, security concerns, likelihood of becoming a public charge and earlier immigration violations. Some grounds can be excused through a waiver.
