Accommodation

A modification or adjustment to a job, the work environment, or a public space that enables a qualified individual with a disability to perform job functions or enjoy equal access. Employers and public entities must provide reasonable accommodations unless doing so would cause an undue hardship. Examples include installing a ramp for wheelchair access, providing a sign language interpreter, or modifying a work schedule.
