Reasonable accommodation

A modification or adjustment to a job, work environment, or public service that enables a qualified individual with a disability to enjoy equal employment opportunities or access. Employers are generally required to provide such accommodations unless doing so would impose an undue hardship. The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) mandates these provisions.
