Essential job functions

The fundamental duties and responsibilities of a position that an individual must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation. These functions are distinct from marginal job functions, which may be reassigned. The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requires employers to provide reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities to perform these functions.
