Adjudicative fact

A fact concerning the immediate parties to a judicial proceeding, establishing who did what, where, when, how, and with what motive or intent. These facts are ordinarily proved by evidence presented at trial and are subject to the rules of evidence. Such facts are distinct from legislative facts, which are general propositions of law, policy, or social science.
