Attorney's duty of confidentiality

A professional obligation requiring an attorney to keep secret all information relating to the representation of a client, regardless of its source. This duty is broader than the attorney-client privilege and applies to all information learned during the professional relationship. It continues even after the attorney-client relationship ends.
