Attorney work product privilege

A legal doctrine protecting from discovery by opposing parties documents and tangible things prepared in anticipation of litigation or for trial by or for another party or its representative. This privilege aims to preserve the adversarial system by allowing attorneys to prepare their cases without undue interference. It is distinct from the attorney-client privilege.
