A non-attorney who assists debtors in preparing bankruptcy forms for a fee, but cannot provide legal advice. These preparers are subject to strict regulations under the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. They must disclose their fees and are prohibited from engaging in the unauthorized practice of law.
