Breach of contract

A failure, without legal excuse, to perform any promise that forms all or part of a contract. This can involve not completing a promised act, performing it defectively, or repudiating the agreement before performance is due. Remedies for a breach can include monetary damages, specific performance, or rescission of the contract.
