Debtor and creditor

The legal relationship between two parties where one party, the debtor, owes a sum of money or other performance to the other party, the creditor. This relationship arises from contracts, loans, judgments, or other legal obligations. The creditor has the right to demand payment, and the debtor has the obligation to fulfill it.
