Judgment debtor

An individual or entity against whom a court has issued a monetary judgment, obligating them to pay a specific sum to the judgment creditor. This party is legally bound to satisfy the debt as ordered by the court. Failure to pay can result in the judgment creditor pursuing enforcement actions, including asset seizure or wage garnishment, under legal process.
