Dependent care plan

An employer-sponsored benefit program under Section 129 of the Internal Revenue Code that lets employees pay for eligible dependent care with pre-tax dollars. Eligible expenses include care for children under 13 and for a disabled spouse or dependent when the care lets the employee work. The annual household limit is fixed by statute and not indexed for inflation, at $5,000 through 2025 and $7,500 from 2026.
