Dodd-Frank: Definitions

The opening definitions section, Section 2, of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, which assigns meanings to terms used across the statute. It covers general terms such as the Board of Governors, the Corporation, the Council and appropriate Federal banking agency. Titles with specialized vocabulary, such as the swap definitions in Title VII, define their own terms.
