Embassy

The official diplomatic mission of one country to another, headed by an ambassador, and the building or compound housing this mission. An embassy serves as the primary channel for communication and negotiation between the two governments. Under international law, particularly the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, embassy premises are considered inviolable and enjoy diplomatic immunity.
