Diplomatic law

The body of international law governing the rights, duties, and privileges of diplomatic missions and their personnel. It establishes the rules for conducting relations between sovereign states, including the appointment of ambassadors, the inviolability of embassy premises, and the scope of diplomatic immunity. The primary source of modern diplomatic law is the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 1961.
