Forger

A person who commits the crime of forgery, which involves falsely making or altering a written instrument with the intent to defraud. This individual creates counterfeit documents, signatures, or other items to deceive others for financial gain or other illicit purposes. A forger's actions are subject to criminal prosecution and civil penalties.
