Household

A group of individuals residing together in a single dwelling unit, regardless of their familial relationship. This unit functions as a basic economic and social entity for purposes such as census data, taxation, and eligibility for certain government benefits. A household can consist of a single person, a family, or unrelated individuals sharing living quarters.
