Incest

Sexual intercourse between persons whose blood relationship, or in some statutes relationship by marriage or adoption, falls within a prohibited degree. It is a crime under the laws of most U.S. states and many other countries, but the forbidden relationships, the penalties, and the treatment of consensual adult conduct differ between jurisdictions. In the United States the prohibited degrees are set by state statute and usually track the limits on marriage between relatives.
