Incorporated

Describing a business entity that has been legally formed as a corporation, thereby becoming a distinct legal person. This status grants the entity limited liability protection for its owners and allows it to enter into contracts, own property, and sue or be sued in its own name. Most large businesses operate as incorporated entities.
