Parcel

A distinct, continuous tract or plot of land described in a legal document such as a deed, mortgage, or survey map. Each parcel is assigned a unique identifier by a local government authority for purposes of property taxation and land records management. This identifier, known as an Assessor's Parcel Number (APN) or property index number, is used to track ownership, valuation, and zoning for that specific piece of real estate.
