Private property

Land, buildings, or personal possessions owned by individuals or non-governmental legal entities, as opposed to being owned by the state. The owner possesses a bundle of rights, including the right to use, sell, lease, and exclude others from the property. This right of exclusion is not absolute and is subject to legal limitations, such as eminent domain, zoning regulations, and law enforcement warrants.
