Rider

An amendment or addition to a document, such as a contract, insurance policy, or legislative bill, that modifies its terms or adds new provisions without altering the main body. In insurance, a rider can add specific coverage or exclude certain risks from the standard policy. For example, a life insurance policy might have a rider for accidental death or disability.
