Save harmless

A contractual provision, also known as an indemnification clause, where one party agrees to protect another party from liability for certain specified losses or damages. The indemnifying party promises to compensate the indemnified party for any costs, expenses, or judgments incurred. This clause is common in contracts to allocate risk between the parties.
