Uncodified
Term · Law · MLC-T-LAW-005031
Describing a statutory provision that has been enacted but is not arranged within a subject-matter code, such as the findings, effective dates, or temporary provisions of an act that remain only in the session laws or the Statutes at Large. The term also covers bodies of law, like much English common law, that were never put into a code. Uncodified provisions still have full legal force.
