United Nations General Assembly

The main deliberative, policymaking, and representative organ of the United Nations. Comprising all 193 Member States, it provides a forum for multilateral discussion of international issues covered by the UN Charter. Decisions on substantive matters, such as peace and security, admission of new members, and budgetary questions, require a two-thirds majority vote.
