Unlawful assembly

A gathering of three or more people with the intent to commit an unlawful act or to carry out a lawful act in a tumultuous or disorderly manner. This offense is often considered a precursor to a riot. Many jurisdictions require that the participants have a common purpose to be deemed an unlawful assembly.
