Blind shipment

A freight delivery arrangement where the identity of the original shipper or the consignee is concealed from one or more parties in the supply chain. This is typically achieved by removing or altering shipping labels and documentation. A common use is when a distributor ships directly from a manufacturer to a customer, preventing the customer from knowing the manufacturer's identity.
